Casting for Recovery, a non-profit organization offering support and educational retreats for women with breast cancer is announcing another year of national sponsorship from long-time supporter Sisters on the Fly.

Sisters on the Fly, a membership based community committed to bringing women together through outdoor activities, raised a total of $44,000 for Casting for Recovery in 2014. Sisters on the Fly was first named as a national sponsor of Casting for Recovery in 2012, and has since raised more than $150,000 in support of CfR and its mission to improve the quality of life for women with breast cancer through a unique program combing medical education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing.

Both CfR and Sisters on the Fly are excited to continue the relationship in 2015 with social media engagement, local fundraising events nationwide, and through a joint partnership at Casting for Recovery's signature fundraiser, the Cast One for Hope, a fly fishing event in October.

"It’s a privilege to support Casting for Recovery," said Sisters on the Fly Co-Founder, Maurrie Sussman. "Their mission so completely resonates with our members, and the result is another year of amazing events and fundraising efforts. It's been a complete inspiration to grow alongside this amazing community as we work together to help women discover the healing power of the outdoors."

In 2015, CfR plans on hosting 40 retreats in 35 states and has served more than 6,500 women to date. To learn more, apply for a retreat, volunteer or donate, click HERE
