An "exciting" ten-part fly fishing series covering affordable fishing at day ticket waters around Great Britain.

From the Country Channel

Stewart Mackay, producer, cameraman and fisherman has been putting the finishing touches on this excellent series.  Presented by Mike Hobbs, the series features ten very different affordable day ticket waters from around the country.  These are not exclusive fisheries and the thrust of the series is to showcase the fantastic fishing available to the average punter.  Locations are varied ranging from the River Wye (Wye and Usk Foundation) and River Wylye to a Welsh lake called Llyn Bugeilyn.

Being keen fly fisherman themselves, Stewart and Mike make a great team and the quality of the series speaks for itself.  So if you have an interest in fly fishing or simply like beautiful landscape you will enjoy ‘Born to Fish’ which is currently available for viewing on the free-to-view online Country Channel at: http://www.countrychannel.tv/player.php. Just search for "Born to Fish".

The series is also available on DVD by contacting the Country Channel (enquiries@countrychannel.co.uk).

Paul Aiken (Country Channel CEO) is delighted with the new series: “This series captures the thrill of going fishing and shows how the average fly fisherman in the UK can enjoy excellent fishing at an affordable price. We hope the series will be enjoyed by those who already fly fish and interest those who have yet to cast a fly.”
