This will be a one and a half day session program - the first half day: tying the fly patterns. Then a full day on the stream to fish the designs in the classic way - with some new dimensions that have proven deadly on Western waters. |

Basic tying tools, 10 foot rods #4 - #5. This is specialized stuff. Instructor will contact students prior to class. |

#108 - Stillwater: the New Frontier |

Description: |
A day long lakeside class, designed to meet and conquer the challenges presented by stillwater. You will fish in the classic loch style, long line short line nymph fish, understand long leader nymphing and line and fly choice for a variety of water conditions. We might, if you are nice to us let you use streamers, too. |

Equipment: |
Rods, Reels, lines, flies, leaders and so on. Plan to have your own ordinary rowing boat (no drift boats) or float tube (preferable) and equipment to go with it. A life preserver is mandatory. If you do not have equipment contact local fly shops (www.westyellowstonechamber.com) for rentals - be sure and do this well in advance so you are prepared. |
