Default Re: Fly Line Differance

If you are used to a 9 weight Mastery Bass line, you may want to stay with a 9 weight line. It seems that you need the extra grain mass to throw your bass flies. If you want a Sharkskin line, choose the Magnum Taper. It is a beautiful casting line. Its taper helps turnover larger wind resistant flies.

If you are worried about the Sharkskin texture being abrasive, you can always wear stripping finger sleeves, or you can wrap your fingers in athletic tape.
