Hi ckalanik,

Trucha is right on target. Even if you wear a hat with a cape and a good bill it may not be enough. You still have the sun reflecting off of the water and it will strike you on your face. Sun block is a big help but the buff gives the best protection when used with sun block. I wear sun gloves most of the year here in Florida.
