You can go after panfish, they are pretty much in every body of water in this state. if you are looking for a club, best thing is go to OzarkAnglers.Com Forum and say hi

However, being at FLW, you are right by a BUNCH of trout streams and a parks as well. bennett springs is right down the highway, maybe 20 minutes at the most. there is also mill creek, little piney creek, roubieduex ( or however its spelled ) creek, and im sure there is one or two others im forgetting.
