I agree. Really the mark for me is if my fly is moving (streamer) I use mono and I go heavy. When nymphing I use fluoro if I think I need the advantage...typically in situations where fish are much more pressured but still feed aggressively (frying pan). If I need to get down quicker with less weight and need a site (invisible) advantage as well I use fluoro.

I seem to have gravitated towards Orvis' fluoro now since i have always thought their Super Strong was one of the best monos ever.
