Tax time approaching I am considering a new rod. Being a working stiff with 5 kids (boys) Funds are slim. I would like to go around $150.00, Here is my main question I own 2 rods now they are cheaper 40.00 or so but both are 5/6 wt
What is the big differnce and should I look at a differnt weight for the 8inch to 18 inch trout that I catch all the time? I have never used a differnt weight how will that effect casting or is it just in the fight of the fish?
