Yeah, a 3 or 4wt is built to make smaller fish feel bigger.

I think a TFO 4wt would be a great next choice. If you're interested in a shorter 8' rod for fishing tight brushy creeks, I'd also consider the ECHO Classic 4wt. Its a great rod, and I've landed some pigs with it, but it's just a little shorter than I think of as being ideal for general trouting.
