Sounds like we think the same. I HAD (till someone wanted it more) a 9'6" 6wt. TL and LOVED that rod. I also have a 9' bamboo (Montgomery) that was my Grandfathers. On the wall is a good place for those old 9'ers cause I sure don't wanna fish it. What a club!
