If you can shoot leader, line, and backing, you are casting 100'+. Depending on what line weight that is, you might want to polish up and get into some casting competitions.

If I want a rod to do most anything, I typically bias toward fast action. I have better success with hauling and roll casts with them. They also throw a streamers better for me.
