I think Polarchromic is nice for everyday use but not my choice for fishing. They offer a trade off of convenience for effectiveness. You might get by with them for other than saltwater or in a northern state. The just don't block enough light for saltwater use or in Florida and other southern coastal regions. Since I am vision impaired it may be more of a problem for me but in severe lighting conditions I don't think Polarchromic is the best way to go. At least not for me.
The polarchromic lenses go down to 13% light transmission(which is pretty low), how much do you think is necessary for saltwater? Which is what I live next to.
