I don't know what they are like on anything lighter than a 3wt, because that is the lightest I have. I catch 5-6 inch bluegills and they put more of a fight on than a 10-12 inch stocker trout. I love panfish. They are scrappers extraordinaire! I like the 3wt for them, but like I said I can't compare with a lighter rod. I am sure a 0-2wt would be even more fun.
