Default Sage 1830 reel?

Hello again all. I started out with a (terrible) cheap blister pack kit and soon upgraded the reel to a Ross Flystart and the rod to an Echo classic 5wt. I love the rod and the more I cast with it the better my feel, accuracy and presentation is getting. Caught my first fish on a fly and 3 more planter rainbows to 11" last weekend nymphing at Putah Creek, CA - I'll post more on that later!

The Flystart was a perfect entry level reel and worked well, but having looked at some larger arbor reels with better drag systems I'm looking to upgrade and the local store has the Sage 1830 for $140 (I'll pay the sales tax to buy local and they'll load my line for me. It's right in my price range, Sage is known for quality and quite frankly I personally prefer the hi-tech look over a more traditional look so it seems to fit my needs!

Anyone have any comments or experiences to share about this reel or suggestions for other reels to look at?

Thanks in advance,
Karl
