Default Re: How far can you cast?

I've always thought it would be fun to get involved with the Casting Competition, but I would hate to see a bunch of grown men crying. Ok, Ok, so what if they would be crying because of the poor casting attempt they had just witnessed.

I'm a good caster up to about 70' of fly line, after that I still tend to try and power it way to much and tend to dump the whole cast.

I really want to learn to Spey Cast. That looks like a whole bunch of fun.
