These kinds of things are always tough to deal with. One guy had a problem with the dealer, someone else did not. Vaflyguy stated that the shop spent twice what it cost and the owner called him on the phone. It seems like they tried to make up for the problems.
Customers do deserve to receiver their orders in a timely manner but things happen. A small business has a hard time these days. It sounds like the shop made an effort to satisfy his customer but was not able to do so. Vaflyguy is able to give his side of the problem but we have no way of getting the shop's side of the story.
So considering all remarks it seems that Vaflyguy wasting some time but made some money. It seems like the shop lost money but still agreed to refund the money for the stacker that was ordered. Vaflyguy also got to keep the stacker he didn't ordered.
It just doesn't sound to me that this shop is all that bad other than not having all items in stock. Not having all items in stock is not an unusually event.
