I have 2 Sages, 3 Stowaway 7's and 15 other fly rods. On my last 8 days of fishing I have only used the Stowaway's size 8 and 6 on stripers, smallies and trout. I mostly enjoy the smallness of the pieces. That's about the only difference between them and the other rods. They fit in a small day pack when I'm done fishing so I don't have to hold them. I bought 5 Stowaway blanks on sale and have made 3 rods so far out of them. I'm curious if the 10 will feel strong, but likely it will.
