I do know one technique, when they have there young they must push them to the surface to make them breathe. This will look like a group of minnows on the surface in a small area (no duh
) and they are a bright red color so if the water color is clearer you can spot them on the surface. Once you spot them cast directly into the group. This will infuriate the parent and cause it to strike. I saw this on a Tv program on national Geographic.
That is about it for my knowledge but if you do try it I would be interested to hear your results.
