I have a full selection of lines from 3wt to 12wt and many in both WF and DT.
Regularly I'll take a few rods and lines out back to try different combinations just to see what I like. Sometimes what I liked "last year" is not the same as what I prefer now.
For example, out of my five 8wt rods IMO only one is a true "8wt" .
Two are 7/8s, one is a 8/9, and the fifth is easily an 11wt if not a 12.
