If fish that size are your 'target' I'd recommend a rod 12' 6" to 13' 6" (max) in a 9 (or 10?) wt. A 25 # fish will require a rod that you can really put the muscle to it. Zip over to the classifieds here and on the SpeyPages web board. Lots of rods for sale at the moment.
