Hi Fred.
Bad news about The Bounty,its Home Port was Sydney as It was owned by an Australian Businessman,he owned a property a Good friend once managed.
It was brought to Australia in 1988 for our Centennial & A Regatta of Tall Ships from around The World,subsequently it was for sale & Bruce Reid bought it.
I also saw & went aboard,however I didn't get to sail on her.
