I think I will get to the point where all my gear will be vintage. I just love the old stuff.
My favorite is the old canvas postal letter carrier's bag my dad used to use for his fishing bag. Its pictured in my avatar above to the left with my rod. It's in a constant state of restoration, but I would never part with it.. And never be without it on the water.
I'd like to find an antique dip net, a nice old reel and someday a great bamboo rod. I will be patient waiting for unsuspecting deals to come along.
