I use a Wally World special LED lamp with flexible neck just like jt mentioned. I have it sitting on a shelf and extending out towards the location of my vise. On my desk I also have a regular table lamp with some sort of daylight bulb if I really need some extra light. More often than not, I use that when I need to pull out drawers and root through tying materials. That works plenty good enough for me.

I've heard lots of folks using the Ott light. Those craft stores like Michael's often have coupons or sales on them.
