Default Re: Freshwater Stripers

Chased them in rivers , lakes and in the salt and when there on baitfish Clousers, Bucktails and any streamer that matches the size of the bait works! Depends on what there feeding on and time of day and year! To many variables need to know where ,when etc to give the best answer and that may be only a guess! One place Alewifes may be the main forage another White Perch or Gizzard Shad and others they nay be gorging on Rainbow Trout! When theyre schooling you want to be using whatever imitates the most common bait where they're located or what they're chasing! When Stripers spread out or go solo or small pods sometimes anything you throw in front of them will get them going.
