I agree. With that said, since so many people like feeding live fish I think the shiners would be the best bet. Not only are feeder gold fish kept in beyond horrible conditions they actually have something (I cant think of the name at the moment) that causes the hole in the head disease. Froze thawed food and pellets are by far the best way to go. As far as night crawlers, make sure they came from somewhere that no chemicals were used to treat a lawn or something like that. You can buy night crawlers, crickets and silk worms from most pet stores if you insist on feeding live food.
