Sounds like a good enough excuse to buy another rod.
Here's a 2wt shootout, but it might be a little dated:

EDIT: Seems like the South Fork Classic 2wt was NOT the overall winner in that shootout (as I had thought two minutes ago), but finished near the top with an ERN of 1.12. If you go by those numbers, that rod would be a 1wt.
P.S. I'm going back and looking at the ERN numbers for the top finishers in that shootout, and the Hardy ALN has an ERN of .89. Sounds like another rod to consider.
