Yes as a matter of fact you do. You take nylon rope and double it over. Tie it so you have a rope eye. Brush it out so it's just fibers. Tie in some crystal flash, whip finish and done. I have a pretty good article on doing it for the smaller species we have here in Minnesota. I tied a couple of flies and copied the article and sent it to a forum member. Once the water warms up I'm hoping he nails a couple of big ones with a two hand rod. How cool would that be huh?
