Default Re: How is Rio Grande different than just over lining?

Just to add to the confusion, Rio Gold is over-weighted by almost a half line weight.

The 30 foot line weight for a WF5F Gold is 146 grains. 30 foot standard for a 5 weight line is 140 grains. 30 foot standard for a 6 weight line is 160 grains.
