The locals don't think so. They (we) want all the strippers eradicated as they are eating the young salmon before they can reach the ocean. This was the first year that we were legally aloud to catch them. Before this year the officials were saying the bass weren't eating the salmon but now that they have cut some of them open and found 7 or 8 smolts in them they have changed their stance.
