Those are lakers. I explore a lot in the back country of Colorado, and I'm finding more lake trout being stocked in the high country by the CDOW than ever before. There are lakers high up in the Rawahs, James Peak Wilderness, Indian Peaks Wilderness, and the Wemuniche (sp??). When lake trout are stocked in high lakes and streams, they just tend to gravitate toward "regular" trout behavior and people love eating them, so I guess the CDOW is introducing them in some places.
