Default Re: Hello New to Spey fishing

Hi Steven,

Wish you were with me the past few days, you could have came up to speed during some of the best weather we've had in Alaska in 8 years. I had several rods with but used a 15' Winston 7/8 for my fishing.

It'll be hard to answer all questions over the miles but everyone here on the forum who uses 2 hand rods will try to help you. My best advice is that you don't get caught up in 'hair splitting' over Spey rods and casting. If I can do it then I figure there is hope for all who try. Be careful and don't try to cast a mile right off the bat.

Welcome to the forum,

Ard
