Default Re: I'm Getting Tired of SOOO MANY CRAPPIE!

Lake Luxemburg is correct !

The crappie are a lot of fun, but the medium-sized crappie seem to fight the
hardest. There are trout being caught in that very spot, but they're
being caught on Powerbait fished close to the bottom (about 15 feet deep)
and out much further than the crappie. I grew up near that lake, and used to
avoid fishing for the stocked trout. My preference is for native fish, but I began fishing that lake for stocked trout a couple years ago. This year's
trout effort there has been less than before, and I'm targeting the crappie
and bass. The funny thing is, most of the fishermen I see there are grocery
shopping for trout, and throw all the crappie back....
