Althought, I never casted the 5wt, I used to have the Zenith 7wt and 8wt. but sold the 7wt because I needed a shorter 6wt. From my experience with those 2 heavier weights, they cast with accuracy, power and you can place your fly roughly or delicately with them. The 7wt and 8wt aren't for <20FT cast, but I am pretty sure the 5wt fast can do almost everything.
