Sounds good, mudbug. I like the up-hook patterns when I'm fishing low in the water column; fewer snags and a camouflaged hook.
I'm actually very surprised at how snagless they can be. In june I was tossing them in the marshes for redfish in LA and often overshot the bank by just a bit and landed my fly into that thick grass and I never had one snag on the way out.
They also have worked well fishing the rocks off shore at Puerto Penasco whith a fast sinking line to get deep. Clousers would get the barbell eyes snagged in the rocks but the bendbacks just slid over them.
