IMO, it depends on where, how you're fishing & how big the fish are whether or not a 7 wt will fit the situation. There's many variables that could make it the right or wrong rod weight to use for any of those species. Of course the specific rod can make a difference too. Not all 7 weights will be designed the same or cast the same. Any rod has it's limitations & will always be a compromise, particularly when it's for multiple species. It will certainly work for those species & others, but again it gets back to the many variables that you might encounter. It will handle those species, but not necessarily all individual fish within those species or all conditions you might find when chasing any of those species. Of course the only way to find out for sure is try it!
