@fae I am trying to keep a log of GPS waypoints with the explanation of what I/we did when we were there. At anytime in the future my son/grandson/great grandson... can navigate to my exact location of the last bull elk I killed, the best fishing on a given stream or river, an excellent path for finding the best raspberry patch...etc.

I remember the day I found my grandads old travel log...I was about 10 and I was in heaven as he had passed before i could get to know him yet I had his writings and it told me a great deal about him and what he did and how he thought.
