Default And one for myself

I wanted to try a rod using 'newer' components.

So, I made this one.

It's an 11' 3 wt. I wanted to use a carbon fiber handle, but with the length of the rod, I wanted a handle where I could grip it at different spots, so I got a 12" full-wells handle.

I also wanted to try the latest and greatest in guides. These are Fuji Titanium TLSG series guides.

On 'working' rods, I don't usually put much decoration. On this one I wanted to try single thread trim wraps, which is what you see (other than on the butt wrap). Once you get the hang of it, they're not too hard to do.
