Default Dupage river report...7/20 and 7/21

I went out for an evening wade. Weather was Great. Water was low and clear... bugs were out on the water panfish were active. I was using my fly rod and tossing Mickey fins and White Zonkers... lol I love that fly's name. But anywho it was dink central tonight. All the fish were taken on top or just under the surface. I did manage around 15 fish... here are some of the pics

All the fish looked healthy and did see quite of few snakes in the water...

then on the 21st

Went out for a few hours... caught tons of fish nothing of big size other than a monster rock bass... what was the state record b/c this was a pound or more... I slammed like a smallie and fought like one too... on the fly it couldnt be better. I walked a good amount in the river and saw tons of Dinks and a few big smallies darting across the river... Top water is key on the Dupage....
