I thought Cliff Hilbert's "Bream Fly Fishing" was well written and contained a wealth of information. I think blue gill fly fishing is the most overlooked and under-rated subject in fly fishing. I haven't seen much written on fly fishing for panfish/bream/bluegill for some time now. Previous authors which were favorites were Jack Ellis "The Sunfishes" along with "Bluegill....Fly Fishing & Flies" by Terry & Roxanne Wilson. Jack Ellis' video "Trouting Tactics For Panfish" was well done. Hopefully, Cliff Hilbert's well written article will stimulate other articles on fly fishing for panfish/bream/bluegill. Well done, Cliff, thanks for sharing your proven techniques and experience!
