Default CT Fly Show

The Connecticut Fly Fisherman’s Association Annual Fly Fishing Expo will be held Sat., Feb. 6th, 2010.

The Expo will be open from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. There is a $1.00 Charge for adults, children under 16 are free when accompanied by an adult for the Expo so bring the entire family. Dave Brandt will be present during the Expo to answer questions. There is free parking and during the expo there will be programs and clinics as well as a fly tyers row along with local clubs and vendors.
If anyone wants to learn how to tie a classic Catskill Dry Fly Dave Brandt is the man to watch. This expo will have something for everyone from the casual to the expert fly fisherman. For the Fly Tyers out there Dave Brandt, Bob Mead, Leslie Wrixon, Richie Tillman, Paul Rossman and a host of others will be sharing their knowledge. There will also be 5 seminars throughout the day.


9-10 AM Rob Nicholas will present Fishing the Housatonic: Where, When and How.

10-11 AM Capt Ray Stachelek presents Super Size: Hungry for Big Stripers? How to satisfy their taste on the fly.

11-12 AM Dave Brandt presents playing big fish.

12-1 PM Baxter House Outfitters Ken Tutalo presents Secrets of the Delaware's East Branch

1-2 PM Capt John Planeta presents Live Lining Eels

There will also be 18 vendors including local clubs, Fresh & Saltwater Guides, Fly Shops, Rod Builders and various Art.
