Double Egg and Sperm Fly

Hook 7999, Mustad 36890 or similar, size 2 to 8.
Thread Flourescent orange
Tag Flat gold tinsel
Tail Yellow hackle fibers
Body Hot orange chenille, flat gold tinsel, then hot orange chenille. Tie and trim the chenille to look round like eggs.
Hackle Hot orange to match the chenille.
Wing White marabou

This is the Traditional version of the Polar Shrimp. It is tied on a shorter shanked hook than the other styles and has an underwing. It is the last version I will post....promise.

Polar Shrimp, Traditional

Hook Tiemco 800, Mustad 3407, or similar, size 4 to 8.
Thread Black.
Body Orange rabbit dubbing or synthetic.
Rib Flat silver tinsel.
Collar Orange hackle.
Underwing Orange fly fur, Ultra hair, or similar synthetic.
Overwing White calf tail, or Polar Bear.
