Taupo Tiger (Aka Tiger Ross)

Hook- 2-8
Tail- red
Rib- silver
Body- yellow
Wing- badger with good black center
Throat- Badger
Cheeks- jungle cock
Head- red

This is the second most popular fly that is in use in NZ behind the Parsons Glory even tho both are old ties, the Tiger Ross was first tied by James Ross of Napier in 1930, the reason there is two names is because he got the the name registered as his and the oppisition fly store came up with another name so that they could sell it too. This is said too be a great fly and will take alot of fish.
