Welcome Mary!

Where are you located? (and what kind if fishing are you interested in?)

This is a great time of year for trout!

Good luck,
Stan

Wow, Ard seemed to be THE GUY

@stan I'm located in AK and as a beginner I absolutely have no idea on what kind of fish I'm going for LOL. Sorry, total newbie. All I have experienced in fishing is when I was 3-years old with my old grandpa who loves to go out and fish during summer in San Diego.

I always fond of fishing. But just a spectator. I never really tried this until today. I already bought a few gear from store and would love to start!

@brain Thanks and I really appreciate you guys helping out.

Hi Maryjune,

I had forgotten about you since you first posted, I live near Wasilla. If you want to begin fishing this year yet you better hurry. The fish are there but the days and fall season are growing short. Be prepared for cold weather; do you have waders yet?

Ard

Welcome and listen to Ard and the others... that end of the pool IS deep. Then there is the shallow end where I am and I think we may need a bit more chlorine down here.
