What hook would you tie a caddis on for salmon? One of those Partridge CS42 in a #10? Obviously this is a rarity and tying somthing that specific might be futile but I bet a bomber body with a elk wing would float like a cork and wake like a battle ship!

They weren't tied specifically as caddis imitations, but I have small, natural bombers tied on CS42 8's, and they worked. I actually would have killed to have some size 10 gold-ribbed hare's ear soft hackles to grease up and fish in the film. Who knew???
