Last trip to Ambergris the bones loved my Kwan-style flies especially the bead chain ones when they were in really skinny water. As you probably know, just about any good fly placed well in front of a Belize bone stands a good chance of being eaten. The next trip to Caulker, in deeper water, a fuzzy gotcha type worked better.
Haven't yet had the chance to throw at a permit, but I always carry merkins, just in case.
