    The new job has you busy I'm guessing. I'm waiting to hear how it went........ You've had long enough to get the registration sorted and catch some fish.

    Davo: After we talked on the phone I went out and checked my trailer and I'm in the same situation, registration ran out the end of April.

    The Hoback is always the first to go. But based on the water in town the Gros Ventre and the Buffalo Fork are now blown too. The Buffalo always takes the longest to clear up. You should give me a shout next time you come up. Be sure to keep us updated on what the Green and New Fork look like!!

    Davo: Sounds good that you are hitting the river on a regular basis. I had to run up to Jackson this morning and noted the off color in the water. The Hoback is really muddy.

    Thanks Larry. It was a pretty good day in spite of the weatherman being wrong about the partly cloudy and warm prediction. It is nice having a job once again!!

    It is just starting to green up. The next day we floated and all the willow branches had started to turn green. won't be long for the leaves to come out too.

    We trade off on which boat we use. No real system, guess a coin toss would work though!!

    A little gray out there still Davo, looks like you could use a little green! How do you decide between the raft and the boat? Coin flip? milt.

    Next Preseason Float.

    Just got back from a drive down to the river. The water looks great. So it is float time tomorrow morning!! Have to see if the water conditions hold. If they do we just might make three floats Friday, Saturday and Sunday. High temps in the low 60's Friday climbing to 70 on Sunday. High temps could dirty up the river by Sunday.

    It was a great day with lots of sun!! Larry loves rowing my boat and I'm an accommodating sort of guy!! If he wants to row all day who am I to deny him what would make him happy!! LOL
