Well I was all set to do a float tomorrow. Then this morning while taking the cover off the boat to check and make sure all was good to go I noticed what I had forgotten. My trailer registration had expired at the end of April.
I had been out of work since December and was coming down to the wire on moving to the family lake in Kansas so I did not renew the registration just in case I was leaving. Then at the last minute ( actually 4 days before the move) I got a great job. So excited about staying in Jackson I went fishing to celebrate and totally forgot about the registration.
Just my luck I don't realize my mistake until Saturday when the County Clerks office is closed. Sure hope there is some clear water next weekend!! Good news is I now have weekends off and should find plenty of opportunities to fish this summer!!
