Posted 04-27-2015 at 02:40 PM by Hardyreels

I found a post today that was about a fellows first day fishing streamers and he ask where to try the next time. I couldn't tell him where to fish so I tried to help him understand how.

Like everything I write into the threads here this will be something that represents an opinion. It is my opinion but I reach this type of assessment through years of practice so I'll share...

Streamers, Where & When Part 2;

Posted 03-14-2015 at 01:47 PM by Hardyreels

So, where was I............

One of my best examples would come from history, my own times fishing on Pennsylvania’s famous Penn’s Creek. There is a very large pool, I mean long, wide and deep that exists about ¾ mile below where little Cherry Run dumps its freestone water into the big limestoner. This pool was a favored place for a friend of mine some 16 years ago and he always ask if I wanted to travel down there with him when the Green Drake’s were on the water. On my second years...
