So it has been a few months, seem to go by way too fast!
I went to my Son's Graduation Ceremony the end of May, it was pretty cool to see him graduate from Grade 12. He plans to take another semester to catch a couple more courses he wants then a couple of years of Criminal Justice after which he intends to apply either to the Canadian Coast Guard or the RCMP. He would be good at both but as a Father I wish he would take up accounting, much safer. Of course I keep that thought to myself.
So I have not been south for my usual fishing trips, anyone following weather and disasters in Southern Alberta will know about floods that have devistated the region. Maybe I will get down after July when I am hopefully healed up from surgery which is happening on the 10th of July. I get to spend 10 days in the Hospital and then 3 to 6 weeks recovery. All going well that will be the end of 2 years of misery.
I have been collecting stuff to make my 'Man Cave" downstairs more aesthetic since I am moving in with my Fiance and selling my own house. I bought an amazing oak desk, solid wood, "L" shaped 91" each way. I found a vintage thread display case and several other items. Slowly getting a nice spot made up. So there I am, things are pretty good, I will try and post pictures in my next post.

Once you get north of 50, clocks run faster... it's been proven. Congrats to your son, and I hope the procedure goes well. milt
