Hello New World

Posted 11-17-2013 at 05:54 PM by troutfodder

Hello I'm new to this forum, really new.
I'm primarily a fly-fisherman for bass, but when i have the chance, I go for trophy trout in the beautiful streams of Western North Carolina.

Two weeks ago, I went on a trip to Stone Mountain Park. Man, were the trout biting on the Delayed Harvest Stream. The fly that was the most effective was a #4 nymph and a small cahill above it. The effects were profound!. In total 11 brookies all over 8 in. and 2 rainbow and brookie hybrids!
